Makita is expanding its line of cordless outdoor power equipment to now include the 36V (18V X2) LXT® 21” Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Kit (XML11CT1). This addition provides a solution for efficient grass cutting, with zero emissions, lower noise, and reduced maintenance. The self-propelled feature of the XML11 enhances its efficiency, making operation a breeze. The mower is equipped with a plastic deck that not only reduces weight but also requires less push force, making it easy to transport. Additionally, its rear-wheel drive self-propelled technology improves traction and performance on incline slopes and uneven terrain. The mower also boasts user-friendly features such as folding handles, quick height adjustments, and mulching capability. It features a 3-in-1 design for mulching, bagging, or side discharge.

The Lawn Mower is also equipped with Makita® Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which provides a protective seal inside the tool to improve its operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust away from key internal components. It is also IPX4-rated for weather-resistant construction and durability.

As part of the Makita’s expanding 18V LXT System, the mower is compatible with the world’s largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries are known for their fast charge times, allowing for more work time and less time on the charger. The Star Protection Computer Controls™ are also integrated into the battery system to improve tool performance and extend battery life. This communication technology allows the tool and battery to exchange data in real-time, monitoring conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.

The mower delivers up to 40 minutes of run time with four LXT 5.0Ah batteries and has a powerful motor that delivers 3,000 RPM for faster cutting. It is self-propelled with variable speed (1.5 MPH - 3 MPH) and is equipped with rear-wheel drive self-propelled technology for improved traction and performance on incline slopes and uneven terrain. With no gas, emissions, oil mixing, or pull starts, the mower is a low-maintenance, low-noise power equipment option that provides an efficient and effective grass cutting solution.
