Makita is pleased to announce the expansion of its cordless Outdoor Power Equipment (OPE) line with the addition of the 18V X2 LXT® Lithium-Ion (36V) 18” Lawn Mower. This mower offers a solution for efficient grass cutting with zero emissions, reduced maintenance, and lower noise levels.

Powered by two 18V LXT batteries, the 18V X2 Cordless Lawn Mower provides maximum power and runtime without the need for additional batteries. The Makita-built motor can deliver up to 3,300 RPM, ensuring a clean and precise cut every time.

The mower comes equipped with convenient features such as quick height adjustments, a large 16-gallon capacity grass collector, and folding handles for compact storage. Model XML03CM1 is available as a kit, which includes the Lawn Mower, four fast-charging 18V LXT 4.0Ah Batteries, and an efficient 18V LXT Dual Port Charger.

Incorporating Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), the Lawn Mower offers improved operation in harsh conditions by sealing out water and dust from key internal components. This makes it a durable and reliable tool for any outdoor job.

The 18V LXT System is the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries, providing users with the versatility and power needed for a variety of tasks. With a deck width of 19" and a commercial-grade steel deck, the Lawn Mower is capable of cutting over 1/3 acre in 43 minutes or less with the included four 18V LXT 4.0Ah batteries. The BL Brushless motor delivers up to 3,300 RPM, while the Quiet mode reduces noise levels by providing constant speed control at 2,500 RPM.

The cutting height range of 13/16" - 3" allows users to customize their grass cutting preferences, while the rubberized soft grip handle bar provides added comfort during operation.
